WHAT TYPE OF CAMERAS DO YOU USE?The cameras we use for SD are industry standard 3 Chip Sony cameras and for HD weddings we use above industry standard Sony EX 1 XD Cameras. These cameras work very well in low light situations so we don't have to use distracting lights on our cameras. We do have lights if needed but we rarely use them. Top of page

WHY DO YOU USE MULTIPLE CAMERASThe biggest reason we use multiple cameras is so we can capture more of your wedding day so you can re live the day so much better than if you only had one camera. For example. Imagine watching your ceremony from one camera positioned in the isle all that camera can do is zoom in and out and pan, it is so limited by what it can cover so what usually happens is that things are cut out cause the camera had to move or someone stood in the way. But with 2 cameras you always have a back up that you can cut to. During the speeches is one of the other best times to use 2 cameras, one is focused on the speaker the other is a reactions camera pointing on the bride and groom or the bridal party or parents. Having the 2 cameras there captures moments of happiness that would be otherwise forgotten. Top of page

WHY SHOULD I HAVE MY WEDDING PROFESSIONALLY VIDEOED?Most bride & grooms will say they love their video cause it lets them re live every moment over and over again. The wedding day goes so fast it is ridiculous one minute you wake up in the morning and then the next your at the reception saying goodbye to your friends and family. A video will fill the gaps of what happened during that time letting you relive the ceremony, the fun at the photos and the speeches at the reception. We think video is the only way you can truly remember your wedding day but don't take our word for it read some of our testimonials and see what our past clients have said. Top of page

WILL YOU GET ALONG WITH OUR PHOTOGRAPHER?We get along with all photographers. We will never cause a scene or be angry cause someone got in our shot. We are both there to capture your wedding day and we will always work with the photographer to do that. We generally let them control the scenes and situations of the day as photos have to be 100% as they are a still shot, video is always moving and you can edit around problems or issues. Top of page

WHAT DO WEDDINGMOVIES STAFF WEARWeddingMovies staff will wear appropriate clothing to fit in with your guests. Most clients say they don't even remember that we are there, which is great because your video will turn out more natural. Top of page

HIGHLIGHTS VERSION?You can get a highlights version of your wedding day that is a special feature you can add on to your package. PARENTS VERSION?We can do a parents version of your wedding. We know some parents don't want all the effects and things cut out so we can do a very basic edit and put it on DVD for your parents. Please contact us for pricing to add this to your package. Top of page

WHAT DOES FULLY EDITED MEAN?We will edit your wedding to the standard you have seen in our samples, using similar effects, styles and your choice of music. The duration depends on how long things go for on your wedding day. The ceremony and speeches are the longest parts of the wedding day, we don't cut anything out of these so if they go for an hour each then your wedding is up to 2 hours not including anything else. But on average the wedding will go for 1-2 hrs. Top of page

EXTRA COPIES?You can get as many copies of your wedding DVD as you like. Copies start at $22 each and the more you get the cheaper they get. Please contact us to find out how much your copies will cost. Top of page

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A COPY OF THE DVD?We do say up to 3 months wait, I know that might sound like a long time but we don't want to rush your editing. Each wedding can take around 30 hours to edit so that is almost a work week taken up editing your wedding. Depending on the time of year you get married this could be a bit shorter but we can't make any promises. Top of page

WILL YOU BE IN OUR FACE OR IN THE WAY?The short answer No. Most couples don't even notice we are there. Our philosophy when it comes to filming is if we were in your face and causing you to be nervous the ending result would turn out that you looked uncomfortable and the video will look bad. We will work with you not against you so if you want us to be close then we can be, but if you want us to have some distance then we can do that too. We will be able to tell your personality once you get in front of the camera if you like it or not. One thing to keep in mind is that the camera will know you hate it so if you are nervous about it, don't be it is capturing one of your most special days and you want to remember it with out the nerves. PHOTO SHOOT LOCATIONS?We will go to all the photo locations that fit into your package hours. Often getting different locations can mean great varying photos as well as varying shots in the video. Top of page

DO YOU COME TO THE REHEARSAL?We do offer coming to the rehearsal as a special feature. If you want coverage from your pre wedding all the way through to the end of the wedding you can add this option on. Top of page

CAN WE HAVE INPUT INTO THE EDIT OF THE WEDDING VIDEO?Yes you can, It is your wedding so you need to be happy with it. The best way we have worked out for you to have input in to the video is we will edit the video and send you a preview. Once you get that preview you watch it and if you wish to make changes, then you can either get us to make them or you can come into our studio for a preview edit where you sit down with the editor and go through the wedding and make the changes with them. AUDIO QUAILTY?Audio is a huge part of the video, if it is bad or cutting in and out it will wreck your wedding video. We know this that is why we use radio microphones during the most important parts (ceremony, speeches) and also other parts if needed. We also have good quality microphones on the cameras too that pick up a lot of sound. When we are editing we make sure we mix all the audio sources together to create a quality soundtrack that will enhance your wedding video. Top of page

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHYGenerally you should book it as soon as you can. We do book the sumer months quickly so if your wedding is over this period get in quick. We do get bookings up to 18 months in advance. Top of page

WHY IS MUSIC SO IMPORTANT FOR MY VIDEO?Music is at least 50% of your wedding video. It plays a huge role in how it will look and feel and choosing the wrong music can be a costly and an unhappy experience. All that said we do give you some tips on what songs work well and if we believe that a song won't work we will talk to you about it. The best thing you can do for us is select songs for the particular sections of the wedding video that will help us give you exactly what you want. Top of page
